My Nose is my BondI managed to catch this tender moment of a Galapagos Sea lion with her pup just before leaving Hood Island in the evening.Normally a cow will spend the first week of their pup's life bonding with it but I took this shot in April when the pup must have been at least five months. The cow had been suckling the pup but it was fun to capture what appears to be a moment of tender affection. The Galapagos Seal Lion is categorised in the 2006 IUCN Red List of Threatened Species as Vulnerable.
