Talk to the Hand

I managed to catch this Galapagos Sealion pup just before leaving Hood Island in the evening.I took this shot in April so the pup must have been about five months. The Galapagos Sea Lion was formerly regarded as a subspecies of the widespread Californian Sea Lion. It is now categorised in the 2006 IUCN Red List of Threatened Species as Vulnerable.
