"I wanted to capture the might of the ocean waves in front of this Galapagos Seal Lion as he pondered whether to enter the surf. The low angle, and the movement of the water and the seal's head add impact. The stones and his fur are already sarurated with water which gives a nice effect in black and white. A black border is used around the Edge of the Canvas in order not to lose any detail"
